Amanda
Amanda grew up in South Dakota and has her Bachelors Degree from Northern State University in General Studies with a focus in Business, Marketing; Fine Arts, Photography, and Humanities. Amanda moved to Minnesota after college to be closer to family.
Amanda is an experienced Makeup Artist and loves to make her client feel their most beautiful! Amanda is also a Photographer and has done Weddings, Location Photography, Graduations, Family Pictures, Engagement Photos, etc.

Chris
Christina Leivian began her career in cosmetics in 1999, as a part-time beauty advisor for Clinique in high school. She attended University of Wisconsin Stout for her bachelor degree in Retail Merchandising and Management with a Concentration in Buying. While attending college she worked as a part time Estee Lauder beauty advisor for Younkers department store. After graduation in 2003 she moved to Minnesota to pursue her career in Cosmetic Management with Estee Lauder Companies.
Chris has held positions as a Beauty Advisor, Cosmetic Counter Manager, and Account Coordinator for the Estee Lauder Companies. Chris was a Cosmetic Department Store Manager and Makeup Specialist for Chanel, Laura Mercier, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Philosophy, Lancome at Von Maur Department Store in Eden Prairie, Minnesota for over 3 years. Chris became a Part time Freelance Makeup Artist for Lancome Cosmetics, Laura Mercier, Lipstick Queen, and Makeup Forever when she stepped out of management to stay home with her children.
Furthering her makeup skills in the industry; Chris took a specialized bridal makeup class offered by Julie Swenson Beauty; a well renowned makeup artist and beauty guru in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From this class, she learned valuable skills to be a wedding makeup artist and decided to start Gunpowder ‘N Gloss makeup on location in 2014 and by 2017 it began to evolve into a cosmetic line.
