Gunpowder ‘n Gloss was created by a small-town Wisconsin-native that loves the outdoors, country music, and cowboy boots. 

That’s my grandma (and me, along with a pile of corn on our family farm), who got me started in makeup. A strong, smart, and kind woman who was determined to help others, and devoted her life to teaching children.

She introduced me to Merle Norman cosmetics when I was 14 and bought me my first pressed powder! I remember the smell of it, so sweet!

I wanted to create a makeup brand that embodied the Tuff and Pretty spirit- a makeup brand for those that love the outdoors, small town vibes, and kickin’ the dust up - all while wearing a pretty lipgloss or your chapstick! Our customers love there chapstick and I love that! We also can Glam it Good, when you want to pick your makeup routine up a notch. Thanks for being here; you have found your hometown makeup brand!
